Noregon Launches New Diagnostics Tool

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Noregon Systems announced it has launched a full-vehicle remote diagnostics tool.

Greg Reimmuth, Noregon’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, said the First Step Service Advisor is a tablet-based diagnostics program that evaluates the complete vehicle, helping fleets to make more informed repair decisions.

He said studies show 57% of trucks repaired actually have undiagnosed fault codes or other issues with traditional diagnostic tools. In addition, he said only about 15% of all non-warranty repairs require OEM software.

The company also said its JPRO Commercial Module is available for Mack and Volvo trucks.
