Canadian trucking and logistics company Dicom Transportation Group announced the appointment of two top-level executives for the parcel and less-than-truckload carrier.

Andrew Grant, 50, formerly of OHL International and Ryder System, is the new chief financial officer of the Montreal firm, which ranks No. 92 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers. Joseph Jaska, 51, who has worked for refrigerated and LTL carriers, is Dicom’s new vice president of operations.

"Andrew and Joe have significant industry and operations expertise and will complement the proficiency of our senior leadership team," Dicom CEO Scott Dobak said in the company’s April 26 statement.

Dicom is a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm.

Grant worked for OHL International, a division of Ozburn-Hessey Logistics, since November 2011 and was the division’s CFO. Previously, he worked for Ryder and DHL Express.

Jaska most recently was vice president of operations for FFE Transportation Services, a reefer carrier that does truckload and LTL transportation. He has also worked for Con-way Freight and Central Freight Lines, both major LTL carriers, during his 27 years in trucking.

Dicom provides transportation services in the United States and Canada. Its major segments are express parcel, LTL and third-party services.
