Nextran Truck Centers added three locations with the acquisition of Westfall-O’Dell Truck Sales, Mack Trucks announced Sept. 1.

Both dealership chains sell Mack trucks.

This is the third acquisition Nextran has made in as many years, and is part of its strategic growth plan. The company was founded in 1993.

The acquisition includes locations in Grand Junction, Colo., Kansas City, Kan., and Kansas City, Mo. Nextran now has a total of 20 facilities. Its locations already covered Alabama, Florida and Georgia.

The company now offers $27.4 million in Mack parts inventory throughout all locations.

“Five years ago, we outlined an ambitious strategic plan that focused on expanding our footprint and facilities, while also investing heavily into our employees, OEM partners and customers,” Jon W. Pritchett, president of Nextran, said in a statement. “The acquisition of Westfall-O’Dell demonstrates our steadfast commitment toward that goal.”

“Both dealerships have been strongly committed to the Mack brand, evidenced by their focus on providing service and support to improve a customer’s total cost of ownership,” said Jonathan Randall, senior vice president of North American sales and commercial operations at Mack Trucks. “This acquisition is just another example of Nextran’s outstanding dedication to our mutual customers.”
