Police Arrest Suspect in K.C. Highway Shootings

Kansas City, Mo., police arrested a man suspected in a series of shootings on highways around the city that injured three people and had drivers on edge for the past month, the Kansas City Star reported.

The shootings occurred in the area’s Grandview Triangle intersection of several major highways, including Interstates 49, 435 and 470.

The incidents began on March 8, and the last confirmed shooting believed to be connected to the case was reported on April 6, the Star reported.

Police said they had connected a dozen shootings to the same person, the Associated Press reported.

Two of the wounded drivers were shot in the leg and the third was shot in the arm, though none of their wounds were considered life-threatening, AP reported.
