Rush Launches Truck-Service Technology Platform, Expands CNG Fuel Systems

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Truck dealership network Rush Enterprises has launched a technology platform that provides fleets with an online view of the service process for their vehicles.

RushCare Service Connect enables customers to receive real-time repair updates, communicate with service staff, request new service, review and approve repair orders and document service events.

“RushCare Service Connect is the next step for our company in helping our customers improve uptime,” CEO W.M. “Rusty” Rush said in a statement.

The system can integrate with a customer’s own or third-party service event management system, such as Decisiv or Navistar’s OnCommand Repair Advocate, Rush said.

Meanwhile, Rush’s Momentum Fuel Technologies business unit has expanded its line of compressed natural gas fuel systems for Classes 6-8 trucks with a new 150-diesel-gallon equivalent back-of-cab system.

The 150DGE system, geared for over-the-road operations, features a new pressure regulator designed to enable drivers to travel further on a tank of fuel. The new pressure regulator comes standard on all Momentum products, the company said.

“We believe that natural gas remains a viable option for some customers, and we are pleased to invest in product technology to meet a wider range of needs in the marketplace,” Rush said.
