SaferWatch Adds CarrierLists to Service Offerings

SaferWatch, a provider of motor carrier licensing, insurance and safety data, has agreed to partner with CarrierLists to supply information about carrier capacity and freight-hauling preferences of truck operators.

CarrierLists maintains a database of more than 20,000 motor carriers with information that is verified by interviews with carrier representatives and includes details about trailer types, preferred lanes and specialized services, such as team drivers, hazmat, heavy-haul and hot-shot deliveries. Shippers, freight brokerage firms and third-party logistics companies can search the database to find carriers to haul loads.

Mark Draeb, president of SaferWatch parent company Grizella in Hebron, N.D., said giving clients access to CarrierLists will make it easier to find and source capacity and “aligns with our model to provide customer driven solutions that are designed with efficiency and effectiveness in mind.”

Grizella also provides business software and PostEverywhere, an online internet load posting service.
