Wex Adds Fuel Card for Mixed-Vehicle Fleets
Wex Inc. announced the latest addition to its line of fleet cards, WEX Cross Roads, a one-card solution for fleets operating multiple types of vehicles. The card provides unleaded gasoline and diesel fueling options at both truck stops and convenience stores.
The card offers truck stop fuel discounts that average 15 cents per gallon at more than 3,400 travel center or truck stop locations nationwide — as well as special pricing on a myriad of fleet business expenses including tires, office supplies, mobile phone plans and more, according to the South Portland, Maine-based company.
Also, customers can track their fuel spend, regardless of vehicle type, in one bill, using a single reporting system, one invoice and assisted by one support team.
“If your business uses a variety of vehicles — heavy trucks, vans, sedans and other vehicles — we designed Cross Roads for you,” Bernie Kavanagh, general manager of large fleet for Wex, said in a company release.
