Feds Investigate Illegal Drivers in Iowa

Allegations that Australians and New Zealanders are working as truck drivers in Iowa without complying with immigration laws have sparked a federal investigation, according to the Des Moines Register newspaper.

Kent D. Fleming, the Iowa director of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, said he could not comment on the report because the investigation was still continuing.

This would not be the first time someone has tried to import Australian truckers despite U.S. immigration laws.
