45 Finalists Announced at NTDC
INDIANAPOLIS — The 45 finalists competing at the National Truck Driving Championships were announced Aug. 24.
The drivers representing states and companies from around the country will vie for a national title at Indiana Convention Center. The top scorers from nine vehicle classes earn national titles. The driver who earns top honors is crowned national grand champion.
This year’s finalists include luminaries such as former national champions Eric Courville with FedEx Freight from Louisiana and Ina Daly with XPO from Arizona. Courville is driving in 5-axle; Daly is in the flatbed class.
Winners will be announced during an awards gala the evening of Aug. 24.

3-Axle: Loren Hatfield, ABF Freight, Arkansas; David Mogler, FedEx Freight, Colorado; Ritch Fundell, FedEx Freight, Illinois; Randall Stromlund, UPS, Nevada; Dan Shamrell, FedEx Freight, Oregon.
