About Us: Transport Topics' Top 100 Private Carriers for 2022
The Transport Topics Top 100 Private Carriers is a listing of the largest corporate-owned truck fleets in North America. Companies are ranked on the basis of the total number of tractors in the fleet and the print edition and online PDF download include a description of the business, the name of the top fleet executive and type of ownership. Listings also include data on the number of tractors, straight trucks, pickups and cargo vans, trailers and other freight hauling assets, such as rail cars and ships.
The Top 100 presentation also features a breakdown of private carriers by business sector, including food service and grocery distribution, petroleum, chemical and gas, beverage distribution, agriculture and food processing, wholesale and retail distribution and manufacturing.
