Accuride Approved for $25 Million Bankruptcy Loan

Accuride Corp. has received approval to immediately borrow up to $25 million on a bankruptcy loan to continue operations, Bloomberg reported.

A judge in a Wilmington, Del., bankruptcy court gave the maker of truck and trailer wheels access to half its proposed $50 million loan at a hearing Friday, Bloomberg said.

Accuride, Evansville, Ind., filed for bankruptcy Thursday as part of a balance-sheet restructuring, Bloomberg said. It listed assets of $682.3 million and debt of $847 million as of Aug. 31.
