ACS Advertising Sold, Becomes Conversion Interactive Agency

Kelley Walkup and Joanne Hazelwood said they have purchased ACS Advertising, an agency specializing in driver recruitment and retention, from document-management provider Pegasus TransTech.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The advertising agency also has been renamed as Conversion Interactive Agency.

“Our name has changed, but the commitment we have to serving our clients and helping them grow their fleet and retain their drivers has not,” Walkup said in the Feb. 4 announcement.

Walkup is now CEO of Conversion Interactive Agency. She led ACS Advertising for nearly two decades.

Hazelwood, who is now Conversion Interactive Agency’s co-chairman, is a former executive vice president at Innovative Computing Corp.

The purchase also included JiggyJobs.com and the Recruiting & Retention Conference.

Pegasus TransTech had acquired ACS from Xerox in 2014.

Conversion Interactive Agency, based in Brentwood, Tennessee, focuses on developing recruiting and retention strategies for its clients through a mix of media, including digital and social media, media planning and buying, promotional campaigns and public relations and branding building.

Walkup said the agency’s new name reflects its emphasis on “driving conversions” for its clients.

“In today’s digital world, converting impressions to clicks, clicks to leads, and leads to hires is the name of the game,” she said.

Conversion Interactive Agency said it is the advertising agency of record for more than 200 companies.
