ADS Logistics Makes Chapter 11 Filing

ADS Logistics has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware, starting the process toward a potential reorganization of the trucking and logistics operator.

ADS, Chesterton, Ind., listed debts of $50 million to $100 million and assets between $10 million and $50 million. The operator of businesses such as Roll and Hold, Western Intermodal Services and Area Transportation listed a William Blair Capital Fund as its largest creditor at $3.4 million in the Sept. 2 filing.

ADS didn’t return a call from Transport Topics requesting comment.
