Aljex Software and Logistical Labs said they are partnering to integrate Aljex’s operations software for freight brokers, third-party logistics providers and carriers with Logistical Labs’ freight-market pricing platform, LoadDex.
The integration will enable mutual customers to make better-informed pricing and quoting decisions without leaving the Aljex application, the companies said in a Feb. 3 statement.
Logistical Labs’ LoadDex aggregates historical pricing information for various routes, enabling users to make strategic decisions about pricing and mode selection.
“When it comes to moving loads, speed and accuracy are extremely important to brokers,” Aljex CEO Tom Heine said in the announcement. “By using LoadDex within Aljex, our users can quickly deliver quotes to their customers that are backed up by the data they’re collecting on a daily basis, without the time lag that comes from switching between multiple software systems.”
Aljex, based in Middlesex, New Jersey, and Boulder, Colorado, provides cloud-based software for third-party logistics firms and carriers. Its clients include freight brokers, rail intermodal operations, airfreight forwarders, container draymen and logistics firms.
Logistical Labs, based in Chicago, offers technology for the logistics and supply chain industries.
