All I-25 Scalehouses Are Automated

Truckers may cruise Interstate 25 without stopping at a scalehouse now that the highway has become the first major trucking corridor in the nation to be completely wired for electronic weigh station bypass, according to state authorities.

PrePass technology went on line at Colorado’s Fort Collins weigh station on May 18. It was the last of seven stations to be automated on I-25, which passes through New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming to where it joins I-90.
