American Natural Gas Acquisitions Expand Fueling Network
Alternative fuel distributor American Natural Gas added 18 compressed natural gas fueling stations in eight states to its network through the separate acquisitions of Constellation CNG and Questar Fueling Co.
Terms were not disclosed.
It added Constellation CNG’s seven fueling stations in Indiana and Ohio. Questar Fueling Co., a subsidiary of Questar Corp., operated 11 CNG fueling stations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Texas and Utah, ANG said.
ANG now owns and operates about 40 fueling stations in 13 states, inclusive of stations in process and under development, the Saratoga Springs, New York-based company said.
“This strategic purchase aligns with our mission to grow our CNG network, extend the reach of alternative fuels, and deliver opportunity to fleets across the country,” Drew West, CEO of ANG, said in a statement. “We look forward to welcoming new and existing users of these stations, while continuing the relationship with Constellation as our natural gas supplier and in marketing ANG’s fueling programs to customers.”
ANG is a subsidiary of HC2 Holdings, a New York-based holding company.
