Trucking executives from across the nation will gather in Orlando, Fla., this week for American Trucking Associations’ annual Management Conference and Exhibition.

The theme of this year’s MC&E is “Look What We’re Building,” referring to the ongoing restructuring of the 66-year-old trade association. ATA is midway through a planned 28-month strategic reorganization.

“This is the first MCE where we are demonstrating the changed culture of ATA,” said Walter B. McCormick Jr., the association’s president.

The more than 4,000 trucking leaders, suppliers and others expected to attend the event from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3 will hear from a host of political experts, scientists and their own peers on many of the key issues affecting trucking’s bottom line.
