ATA VP Resigns to Pursue Law Career

Baulig said she is entering private law practice in Washington, D.C., specializing in employment and transportation law. She also plans to volunteer for the pro bono program sponsored by the District of Columbia’s Bar Association.

No replacement for Baulig has yet been named.

Before attaining her current position at ATA in January 1998, Baulig held various jobs within the organization. She was an associate counsel in the Litigation Center and Law Department and director of the Human Resources Policy Department. In 1994, she was promoted to vice president of the department, which was later renamed Labor and Human Resources Policy.
