Aterian Acquires Xpress Global Systems
Aterian Investment Partners, a private investment firm, said it has acquired Xpress Global Systems.
Founded in 1986 and based in Chattanooga, Tenn., XGS is a provider of rolled floor coverings, including carpet, area rugs, turf and hard surface floor coverings.
XGS operates 28 service centers across the United States, and services 3,000 customers. XGS maintains a national network of service centers and trucks to make deliveries, according to Aterian.
Aterian is a middle-market private equity firm that invests in businesses generating $25 million to $500 million of annual revenue, according to a news release.
