Atlas Canada Appoints Schellenberg As President
Moving service provider Atlas Canada, a subsidiary of Atlas World Group, has appointed Barry Schellenberg as company president.
He will oversee all business areas and guide the future direction of the van line while collaborating with fellow Atlas World Group leaders.
Schellenberg was previously vice president of Western Canada for Sameday Worldwide, a courier service offering express and cargo services. He has also held senior leadership positions at CE Franklin, DHL Express Canada and UPS Inc.
Atlas Canada, headquartered in Oakville, Ontario, provides local, long-distance, international, cross-border and specialized moving services through its 150 agent moving companies located throughout Canada.
Its parent company, Evansville, Indiana-based Atlas World Group, ranks No. 36 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire companies.
