Third-party logistics provider AutoInfo said its first-quarter earnings rose to $425,000, or 1 cent a share, from $219,000, or 1 cent, last year.
Revenue rose to $56.9 million from $35.3 million in the 2009 quarter, the company said in a May 17 statement. Net revenue, which removes the cost of purchased transportation, rose to $10.9 million from $7.8 million in 2009.
“We are poised to capitalize in an improved business environment and we will continue our agent network expansion efforts and seek out strategic growth opportunities,” said Harry Wachtel, president of the company.
AutoInfo operates through its subsidiary, Sunteck Transport Group.
