AutoInfo’s Profit Doubles in 2010

Third-party logistics provider AutoInfo said its 2010 earnings rose to $3.1 million, or 9 cents a share, from $1.4 million, or 4 cents, the year before.

Revenue rose to $279.7 million from $183.9 million in 2009, the company said in a statement Friday.

“2010 was a most rewarding year,” said Harry Wachtel, president of the company. “We experienced growth in all of our business lines and service offerings. We are poised to capitalize on an improved business environment and we will continue our agent network expansion efforts and seek out strategic growth opportunities.”

AutoInfo operates through its subsidiary, Sunteck Transport Group.
