AutoInfo’s Profit Increases in 3Q

Third-party logistics provider AutoInfo said its third-quarter earnings rose to $1.99 million, or 6 cents a share, from $966,000, or 3 cents, last year.

Revenue rose to $200.5 million from $128.6 million in the 2009 quarter, the company said in a statement Friday.

“As we approach the end of 2010, we are pleased to report strong results as we continue to recover from the economic downturn,” said Harry Wachtel, president of the company. “In 2010, we have broadened our service lines and expanded our agent network as we have focused on both intrinsic and external growth.”

AutoInfo operates through its subsidiary, Sunteck Transport Group.
