Bosselman to Manage 9 Flying J Truck Service Shops

Flying J Travel Plazas said Wednesday it has leased nine locations from its J Care Service Centers subsidiary to truck stop repair firm Bosselman Boss Shops.

The management changeover began Tuesday, Flying J said. Under the terms of the agreement, Bosselman will manage the J Care locations and re-brand them with the Bosselman brand, a spokeswoman told Transport Topics.

“We’re working to broaden our footprint across the country in the truck repair business,” Chuck Bosselman, president of Bosselman Inc., said in a statement.

“This addition of more shops in our network will greatly benefit both existing and new customers,” he said. “The trucking industry is constantly looking for repair facilities that they can trust to do their over-the-road work for them, and after 61 years in this industry, Boss Shops are targeting that need through quality service and competitive pricing.”

The companies are in discussions concerning long-term leasing deals for six additional locations, Flying J said.
