Third-party logistics firm Carter Logistics said it has opened a new cross-dock facility in Romulus, Mich.
Carter said in a statement Monday that the facility supports it work with Nissan. The Romulus facility, along with a facility in Anderson, Ind., are located to serve automotive manufacturers in the Great Lakes.
In addition to the Romulus and Anderson cross-docks and other cross-docks in Paragould, Ark., and Laredo, Texas, Carter plans to open two more docks later this year.
Carter Logistics, Anderson, Ind., serves the automotive, appliance, electronic and food industries.
