New York-based Choice Logistics said it hired Jordan Kaufman as chief information officer. He succeeds Robert Bacchi, who is stepping down to pursue other interests.
Kaufman will be responsible for software development, application integration, and business intelligence. Additionally, he is accountable for technology infrastructure, network security and business continuity processes, the company said.
“Jordan’s role highlights the importance Choice places on innovation. We believe that a modern supply chain requires transparency, visibility and creative solutions,” Michael Katz, CEO of Choice Logistics, said in a statement.
Choice said it offers warehouse, inventory and transportation management services through 400 stocking locations, regional distribution centers, and transportation hubs in more than 80 countries.
