DAT Offers Web-Based Freight Brokerage Management System

DAT Solutions said it is offering a Web-based version of its Keypoint freight-brokerage transportation management system for a monthly subscription.

Keypoint Anywhere is designed for brokering freight and more streamlined than systems for trucking companies, according to DAT.

“DAT Keypoint Anywhere gives new and small brokers, as well as carriers running a logistics business plug and play, tools for complete brokerage operations, accounting and analytics,” Don Thornton, DAT vice president of sales and marketing, said in a statement.

A monthly subscription begins at $249 for three users and includes maintenance, upgrades, backup and security from the company.

“Successful freight brokers realize the advantages technology gives them — specifically, speed and efficiency in moving loads, managing receivables and payables, maintaining shipper customer and carrier relations, and synchronizing with agents at remote locations,” Thornton said.
