Day & Ross Accelerates Growth in US

Day & Ross is focused on growing its US Dedicated business by building new capabilities, investing in drivers and supporting customers across their North American supply chains.

Last month, David Carr assumed leadership of US Operations after playing a significant role in growing the company’s Dedicated business in Canada. As President, Dedicated, North America, David will continue to leverage their network and new opportunities in both countries.

Recent additions to the team include Gardner Green, Senior Vice President, Dedicated Sales; Steven Wilson, Associate Vice President, Pricing & Solutions; Matt Melnyk, Vice President, Operations; Eric Otto, Associate Vice President, Finance; Ron Martin, Vice President, Driver Recruiting.

“We believe in attracting and retaining top talent and giving them the tools to do their jobs well,” shared Bill Doherty, Chief Executive Officer. Investments include new equipment, facility upgrades, and a driver pay increase, with an opportunity for drivers to earn up to an additional 15%. “We’re replacing and adding hundreds of power units throughout 2021 to support our drivers and customer needs,” said Shawn McMahon, Chief Operating Officer.

Recent expansions include new distribution centers in Minneapolis, MN and Cincinnati, OH, with additional locations set to open later this year.
