Denny’s Offers Discounts to Drivers
Denny’s restaurants across the United States will celebrate professional drivers by offering discounts and a discount key tag through Sept. 30. The monthlong special is inspired by National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, which spans Sept. 9-15.

This month, professional drivers who visit participating locations will receive a scratch-off card with discounts and prizes, such as a free Grand Slam with a beverage purchase, 20% off a guest check, free coffee or dessert with the purchase of an entrée, and more.
“Every September, our teams across the country look forward to welcoming professional drivers into our booths to celebrate their hard work and dedication,” Steve Henry, senior director of field marketing, said in a press release. “These men and women are the driving force of America, and we are proud to serve them year after year.”
Denny’s also will provide drivers with a 10% discount key tag that can be used at participating locations until Dec. 31, 2019. With the purchase of a limited-edition Driver Appreciation hat for $9.99, drivers will receive a $5 Denny’s gift card.
