Diesel Direct, a supplier of mobile fueling services based in Boston, said it has purchased assets from BTU Energy in Baltimore for an undisclosed amount.
CEO William McNamara said BTU Energy delivers more than 10 million gallons of diesel and gasoline to customers in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., annually.
“This purchase will strengthen our presence in the region and will enable us to offer clients enhanced benefits and services, particularly in the area of bulk fuel deliveries,” McNamara said in a statement on Nov. 18.
Diesel Direct, which was founded in 1998, operates directly or through partners in 45 states, providing fuel delivery for trucks, boats, generators, tanks and other equipment.
