A. Duie Pyle Enhances Guaranteed Shipping Option
Less-than-truckload carrier A. Duie Pyle Inc. said volume for its guaranteed, expedited service has grown more than 30% on a year-over-year basis during the first quarter as its Pyle Priority program expands.
Pyle, based in West Chester, Pennsylvania, reported handling nearly 15,000 time-sensitive shipments, with delivery times before 10 a.m., noon or 5 p.m. Also, customers can choose a guaranteed express option with exact delivery time any day of the week, said the statement from the carrier that ranks No. 75 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
“In today’s business environment, more customers are employing just-in-time supply chains, and the need for time-specific delivery service is expanding rapidly,” Chief Operating Officer Randy Swart said. “By leveraging our already reliable Northeast regional network of 22 strategically located direct-load service centers, Pyle Priority Service provides customers with extra peace of mind when it’s needed most.”
