EBE Technologies said it has enhanced its safety and risk management system to help fleets better manage accident scenes, cargo claims and litigation.
The updates to EBE’s accident-scene management system include features for cargo claims, including brokerage notification, deductible calculation and the ability to track a claim from initial filing to completion.
The system allows fleets to immediately upload accident scene photos, driver statements and police reports, and also provides alerts to ensure this documentation is present. It also offers direct distribution of documentation to third parties such as insurance companies.
In addition, new features for managing litigation activities are designed to expedite claims by providing greater visibility throughout the litigation process, including whether the case is active and whether legal counsel has been engaged.
“The enhancements to EBE’s Risk Management system position carriers for optimal regulatory compliance, enabling them to manage safety and compliance more proactively,” said Cindy Nelson, EBE’s vice president of marketing and driver solutions.
