EBE Offers New Vehicle-Maintenance Software

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — EBE Technologies announced the launch of SHIPS vehicle maintenance solution (VMS), which allows carriers to optimize their internal or outsourced maintenance operations.

EBE said in a press release issued during the Technology & Maintenance Council’s annual meeting here that the system allows personnel to monitor and manage all aspects of fleet maintenance, including warranty information, depreciation of assets and driver vehicle inspection report citations.

VMS also incorporates EBE’s other work flow offerings to provide purchase order processing, roadside inspection monitoring and dispatch, the company said.

“This application takes advantage of EBE’s ‘manage by exception’ work flow methodology, mobile workforce and integration capabilities while linking critical data points between the drivers, dispatch, mobile communications and accounting systems,” EBE Technologies President Larry Kerr said.
