Emery, Post Office Start New Venture Despite Litigation

Emery Worldwide and the United States Postal Service are taking a second stab at doing business together with Parcel@Home, an Emery product that uses the post office for the final leg of delivery.

While discord over Emery’s involvement the postal service’s Priority Mail has resulted in protracted negotiations and a federal court case between the two parties, they are hoping Parcel@Home will work out better for both of them.

Emery President Roger Piazza said Aug. 15 that his company comes from a background of business-to-business transportation but has no experience in residential delivery.
