FedEx Expands International Economy Service

FedEx Corp. said Monday it has expanded its international economy package and freight services to 90 countries, from the 16 previously serviced.

The services typically deliver in two to five days, FedEx said in a statement.

“In today’s challenging economic environment, we understand that our customers need to keep costs down while maintaining a competitive edge in the global marketplace,” said Michael Ducker, president of FedEx Express’ international unit.

FedEx Corp. is ranked No. 2 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
