FedEx Names Brian Philips to Head Kinko’s Unit

FedEx Corp. Wednesday named Brian Philips chief executive officer of its FedEx Kinko’s office supply division.

FedEx had named Phillips to be Kinko’s acting CEO in March, following the resignation of former CEO Ken May.

Philips joined FedEx in October 1993, and has served as vice president of U.S. Marketing at FedEx Services, where his responsibilities included retail strategy and marketing, advertising, global brand management, segment marketing and sponsorship marketing.

FedEx Corp., ranked No. 2 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers,  bought Kinko’s for $2.4 billion in 2004.
