FleetPride Expands Into Kansas
Aftermarket parts distributor FleetPride Inc. acquired Truck Parts & Equipment Inc. from the TP&E Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Truck Parts & Equipment’s origins date back to 1924, and it has been 100% employee-owned since 2001. The company is based in Wichita, Kan., with additional Kansas locations in Topeka and Hays.
The Wichita location offers service shop and equipment upfitting.
The three locations will become FleetPride’s first branches in Kansas, the Irving, Texas-based company said.
FleetPride operates more than 260 locations in 46 states and carries more than 400 nationally recognized brands. It supplies the general freight, leasing, municipalities, agriculture, food and beverage, construction and waste management segments.
