Aftermarket parts supply company FleetPride announced that interim CEO Don Sturdivant has been appointed to that position on a permanent basis.
The statement from the Dallas-area company, which operates 260 locations in 45 states, said, “The board conducted a thorough and extensive search process. It became clear during the process that Don's successful track record, prior experience and strong leadership skills made him the right leader for the job.”
Sturdivant joined FleetPride on an interim basis 14 months ago from Marietta Corp., where he was an executive for six years.
Last year, FleetPride generated more than $1 billion in sales and named Sturdivant to its board.
Sturdivant also was chief operating officer at Altivity Packaging, which was owned by TPG, an investor that acquired FleetPride in 2012.
