Food Deals for Truckers During the Coronavirus Crisis

Many retailers are showing their support for truck drivers during the coronavirus pandemic by offering specials or making it easier for them to visit their establishment.

The International Franchise Association maintains a regularly updated page of services. Transport Topics wrote about this subject on April 2. 

TransForce also maintains a list of discounts and resources for drivers that goes beyond food, and is viewable both by category and by state.

The vast majority of McDonald's restaurants are open for takeout, drive-thru or delivery (dine-in eating is closed).

Shoney's Restaurants

Shoney's has multiple locations that are often just off of interstates and have large parking lots. Shoney's is offering takeout meals for truckers.

Texas Roadhouse

Texas Roadhouse pledges to serve drivers right at their truck whenever possible. Drivers are asked to call ahead to make sure there is a parking space for their truck before ordering.
