Gas Average Dips 3¢ to $2.75

Gasoline prices fell 3 cents in the past two weeks, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.

Regular gasoline averaged about $2.75 a gallon, mid-grade was $2.88 and premium was $2.99, analyst Trilby Lundberg said in her latest report, issued twice a month.

The lowest average price was in Phoenix, where regular cost $2.51 a gallon, while the highest was in Honolulu at $3.12, the survey said.
