Gas Prices Gain a Nickel to $2.76, Lundberg Survey Says

Gasoline’s national average price rose a nickel to $2.76 a gallon in the two weeks ended Friday, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations.

Diesel rose a penny to $3.02 a gallon, analyst Trilby Lundberg said in her twice-monthly survey released Sunday.

Mid-grade gasoline rose to $2.91, while premium was at $3.02 a gallon, the survey said.

Charleston, S.C., had the lowest average price for regular at $2.49 a gallon, while San Francisco registered the highest, at $3.14.
