Diesel Average Rises to $3, Lundberg Survey Says
Gasoline’s national average price fell 11 cents in the past three weeks to $2.72 a gallon, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of fuel prices released Sunday.
Prior to that, gas had declined 10.8 cents since early January, analyst Trilby Lundberg said in her twice-monthly survey of filling stations.
Diesel rose 9 cents from three weeks ago to $3 a gallon, Lundberg said.
Jackson, Miss., had the lowest price, at $2.43, while San Francisco was the highest, at $3.10 per gallon.
The Department of Energy will release its weekly survey of diesel and gasoline prices Monday afternoon in Washington.
