Gasoline Drops 3.2¢ to $3.71, Lundberg Reports

Gasoline’s average pump price fell 3.2 cents in the past two weeks to $3.71 a gallon, according to the latest Lundberg survey of filling stations released Sunday.

Further declines are expected in the next few days, analyst Trilby Lundberg said following release of the survey, which covered the two-week period ended Friday.

Billings, Mont., had the lowest gasoline price among cities surveyed, at $3.33 a gallon, while Chicago was the highest, at $4.10.

Oil rose 1.9% to $93.71 on the New York Mercantile Exchange in the two weeks ended Friday, Bloomberg reported.



The Department of Energy will release its weekly survey of diesel and gasoline pump prices Monday afternoon in Washington.
