Gasoline Falls 6¢ to $3.78, Lundberg Survey Reports

Gasoline’s national average pump price fell 6 cents in the past two weeks to $3.78 a gallon, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.

Premium- and medium-grade gasoline also declined 6 cents each, to $4 and $3.94 per gallon respectively, analyst Trilby Lundberg said in her twice-monthly survey of filling stations.

San Francisco had the highest price among cities surveyed, at $4.36 per gallon, while Memphis was lowest, at $3.34.

Crude oil prices have fallen more than $13 in the past three weeks.

The Department of Energy’s weekly survey has shown declines in both diesel and gasoline prices for more than a month.

DOE will release this week’s survey Monday afternoon in Washington.
