Gasoline Falls 9¢ in Three Weeks to $3.61, Lundberg Survey Says

Gasoline’s national average price fell 9 cents in the past three weeks to an average $3.61 a gallon, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.

Mid-grade held at 3.76, while premium declined 8 cents to $3.87, according to the twice-monthly survey of 2,500 stations taken Friday.

Tucson, Ariz., had the lowest price of cities surveyed, with an average gasoline price of $3.26, while Chicago was the highest, at $3.97.

The Department of Energy will release its weekly survey of diesel and gasoline prices Monday afternoon in Washington.
