Gasoline jumped 11.2 cents in the past two weeks to $3.66 a gallon, as refineries in the Midwest and West Coast regions experienced outages, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.

Midgrade and premium prices each rose 12 cents, to $3.84 and $3.98, respectively, according to the survey, which is released twice a month. The latest report covered the period ended Friday.

In addition to the refinery outages, refiners are also being hit by higher costs as they reformulate summer blend gasoline, Reuters reported.

Minneapolis had the highest price among cities surveyed, soaring 62 cents in the past two weeks to $4.27 per gallon. Tucson, Ariz., had the lowest, at $3.18.

The Department of Energy will release its weekly survey of diesel and gasoline pump prices Monday afternoon in Washington.
