Gasoline Prices Fall 11 Cents, Lundberg Says

The average price of gasoline across the country fell by 11 cents over the last two weeks, according to the latest Lundberg Survey released Sunday.

Regular gasoline fell $3 a gallon, oil industry analyst Trilby Lundberg said in her twice-monthly report. Mid-grade averaged $3.11, and premium was $3.22.

The level about matched last week’s $3.009 reported by the Energy Department in its weekly survey.

The lowest price was in Jackson, Miss., at $2.75 gallon, while the highest was in Chicago, at $3.39. Lundberg surveys about 7,000 stations nationwide.
