GlobalTranz Acquires Global Freight Solutions

Logistics company GlobalTranz Enterprises Inc. announced the acquisition of Chicago-based Global Freight Solutions, a freight brokerage and logistics company.
Terms were not disclosed.
This marks the third acquisition for GlobalTranz in 2019 as it looks to expand its market share and continue profitable growth through the second half of the year and into 2020, according to the Phoenix-based company.
Global Freight Solutions has operated for more than 25 years and brings what GlobalTranz termed significant technology-enabled freight management best practices and a strong customer service focus.
GlobalTranz Enterprises ranks No. 50 on the Transport Topics list of the 50 largest logistics companies in North America. It ranks No. 8 on the TT list of the 10 largest freight brokerage firms. — Transport Topics
