GPS Trackit, a provider of fleet management software, said it completed acquisitions of TSO Mobile of Miami, InTouch GPS of Lakeland, Fla., and Fleet Trax of Dallas in 2018.
Based in Roswell, Ga., GPS Trackit officials said the acquisition of complementary telematics brands TSO Mobile, InTouch GPS and Fleet Trax will expand the company’s suite of fleet management and asset tracking solutions.
GPS Trackit CEO Keith Schneider said the industry is moving fast, and growth by acquisition is necessary.
The company generates mileage summaries, detailed vehicle summaries including reports on hard turns and hard accelerations, driver safety reports, on-demand temperature reports for trailers, speed reports and engine diagnostic data.
With the new companies under one umbrella, GPS Trackit has tripled its customer base to about 131,000 customers, Schneider said. — Transport Topics
