Great Western Leasing and Sales Acquires All Points Equipment Leasing

Great Western Leasing and Sales, a full-service solutions provider to the flatbed and specialized trailer industry, has announced the acquisition of All Points Equipment Leasing. The move represents Great Western’s first expansion into the Midwest market, according to a Dec. 26 press release.

Great Western Founder and CEO Sean Norton noted the region was “a large and attractive market for the flatbed and open-deck trailers in which we specialize.” He added that All Points’ presence in the dry van trailer rental market would add to Great Western’s current portfolio of services.

All Points has served the Detroit and eastern Michigan market for almost 30 years, according to the release.

Great Western is based in Irvine, Calif., operating a network of facilities in primarily the western United States. It offers a range of sales, financing, leasing and rental options for new and used trailers, as well as aftermarket trailer repair and maintenance.

This acquisition echoes a similar move announced two years ago. In January 2017, the company released news that it had acquired Quality Trailer Sales in efforts to expand its network into the southwestern United States. — Transport Topics
